Payment Methods

We accept payment by cards containing the following symbols:

Please note: we cannot accept American Express.

If you do not wish to pay by credit card, we will contact you to arrange payment of your order. Just place your order through the checkout and you will be given an option to be contacted.

Time of Payment

The value of the order will be deducted from your credit card when the order is despatched. If some items in your order are out of stock, only the value of goods that are shipped out to you will be taken off your card.

With Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, Royal Mail guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey.

Some places take longer to deliver to, but delivery is guaranteed within three working days by 5.30 pm. Please check below for longer delivery times

Free Post & Packing (UK Mainland Only) - Terms and Conditions

Orders must contain physical products (not including Online Learning) to the value of £25 or more, after discounts, to be able to take advantage of the Free P&P option.
Only deliveries to the mainland U.K will qualify for this offer.
Offer only applies to single delivery orders i.e.: Orders with a split delivery selected cannot qualify for the free delivery option.
Free P&P will be removed from any order if that order has a physical (not an Online Learning product) item cancelled from it and the resultant total value of the order falls below the £25 threshold. (See point 1)
The Register Books reserves the right to change the Free P&P terms and conditions or remove the free delivery option from the website at any time.
Orders will usually take between 1 & 4 working days to arrive.

What if all the titles I order are not in stock?

During the checkout process you will be asked the question
"Do you want us to split your order for delivery?"

If you choose No, your order will not be despatched until all of the items are in stock.

If you choose Yes, then items are despatched as and when they come into stock, in one or more deliveries.

All out of stock items will be placed on backorder. If you wish to cancel your backorder at any stage, please go to the 'Track My Order' section within the 'Your Account' area.

Special Delivery
If you have chosen one of the special delivery methods and have requested a split delivery, all subsequent deliveries will be sent out using the same delivery method as your first delivery.

If you wish to choose a different delivery method for each title, you must submit a separate order for each title, choosing a different delivery method.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Order Status Guide

	In Stock This title is normally held in stock, and is available for same day despatch. However items may occasionally go out of stock between updates. If your order is urgent, please double check with customer services to ensure that the item is definitely in stock before placing your order.
	Online Course This title is a non-physical product that is accessed online. No physical despatch is involved when an Online Course is purchased; we will send you an email, normally within 10 minutes of the acceptance of your order, detailing the login details you will require to activate your account. PLEASE BE AWARE that these titles are subject to the Microsoft Corporation EULA (End User License Agreement) and, in line with any software products, CANNOT be refunded or exchanged for another product if course activation has taken place. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full information.
	On Order This item is a current title but may temporarily be out of stock. If you wish to place an order the item will be sent to you as soon as the title comes back in stock. Occasionally some items take longer to obtain than others, and in extreme cases there are additional delays if publishers need to re-print the title.
	Special Order We can accept orders for this item, but only if it is a firm sale, therefore we cannot accept returns of these items. We do not usually keep these items in stock, but will send it to you as soon as we obtain it. Please note your credit card will not be charged for this item until it has been despatched from our warehouse. Your statutory rights are not affected.
	Forthcoming This title has not yet been released in the UK. The Date Published listed will tell you which month it is expected to be released in. We can accept advance orders for these - the item will be despatched to you on the day of release, and your payment card will not be charged until we send it.
	Old Edition This title is no longer stocked. Reasons for this include the item being out of print, no longer available in the UK, about to be superceded, or no longer stocked by our suppliers. Sometimes we may be able to order one of these for you; please contact our customer services department for details. Where appropriate, a link is provided to a newer edition of the product.
	Limited Stock This title is normally held in stock, but at this time we have a limited number available. This product is available for same day despatch, however due to limited quantities in stock there is a small chance that it may go out of stock while your order is being processed - in which case it will become and "On Order" product. If your order is urgent, please double check with our customer services to ensure that the item is definitely in stock before placing your order, and they will be happy to reserve it for you.
